The Giants enjoyed a great 2009, releasing our debut CD: Cool Human, expanding our touring radius to include much of the East Coast, and the highlight being Winning the DC Hottest Band Competition and performing at DC's Hard Rock Cafe.
We thank all our fans, new and old, who continue to show support!

The Giants have a few private shows in December culminating with a huge New Year's Show (2nd in a row) at Brock's in Fredericksburg. More details soon.

After a month of filming, photoshoots, promo, and performing for the DC's Hottest 5 Band Competition sponsored by metromix.com and the DC Lottery, Third Stream Giants proved victorius. We hope to use the exposure to book new gigs and spread the soul around.
We got to meet some great musical acts special thanks to Tieweb, Mello-D and the Rados, DK aka Wayne Watts and Wisdom Speeks - we hope to be sharing the stage with these guys again soon!

The Giants had a BUSY week. It started with a Tuesday TV shoot at WUSA*9 News Studio in Washington, DC. The Giants taped their performance of a new song titled "Shoulda Known Betta", which was broadcasted on CBS DC Morning News Firday August 21st (we will post the videos soon).

Wednesday, the Giants weathered the weather playing for the freshman welcome at UMW. Besides the incessant rain, it was a lot of fun and we always enjoy performing for our hometown university.

Thursday was a last minute addition to the schedule at the new venue downtown Fredericksburg: The University Cafe. Had a great show and met a lot of new and previously owned fans and friends - thanks for coming out!

Friday, after getting up early to watch the broadcast of Third Stream Giants on the WUSA*9 (in HD), the eight man juggernaut headed to Roanoke for our second time. We had a great response and we look forward to our September gigs there!

Next up is the DC's Hottest 5 finals at the Hard Rock Cafe in DC. Theses are August 27th - it's a Thursday, but the show starts and ends early - be there at 8pm to catch the Giants.

Third Stream Giants have placed in the top 5 of DC's Hottest Band. We will be featured in promo commercials on WUSA*9 (CBS) in DC, we will also be performing for the morning show - more details when they are available.
Also, the finals for the DC's Hottest Band is on August 27th at the Hard Rock Cafe. Hopefully we will be arranging some mass transit to get our loyal fans up there to support us. Contact us if you may be interested.
